"Where stories are heard, healing begins."

About the foundation

A community-driven home for the unheard.

The Loyiso Lindani Foundation NPO exists to restore dignity, amplify voices, promote healing, and support long-term social transformation through advocacy, psychosocial support, education, and community empowerment.

We work at the intersection of mental health, HIV advocacy, sexual and reproductive health rights, trauma healing, child protection, and leadership development — building safe and empowering spaces for women, adolescent girls, children, and marginalised communities affected by violence, poverty, HIV stigma, abandonment, and systemic inequality.

Our Vision

To build a society where women, children, survivors of violence and vulnerable communities are safe, empowered, healed and able to thrive with dignity, equality and hope.

Our Mission

To provide trauma-informed support, advocacy, healing spaces, psychosocial services, leadership development and community empowerment initiatives that address gender-based violence, HIV stigma, mental health, and social exclusion.

What we do

Seven areas of focused, healing-centred work.

From psychosocial support to advocacy and leadership development, our programmes meet survivors and communities where they are — with care, dignity, and a long view toward lasting change.

01 / Advocacy

Gender-Based Violence

Addressing gender-based violence and abuse through advocacy, education, and direct support for survivors rebuilding their lives.

02 / Healing

Trauma & Mental Health

Providing trauma-informed psychosocial care and creating healing-centred safe spaces for women, girls, and children.

03 / Health

SRHR & HIV Support

Promoting sexual and reproductive health rights, supporting people living with HIV, and dismantling stigma in our communities.

04 / Empower

Women & Single Mothers

Empowering vulnerable women and single mothers through skills, support networks, and economic enablement pathways.

05 / Protect

Children & Youth

Supporting orphaned and vulnerable children with care, protection, and pathways to leadership and self-determination.

06 / Express

Art & Storytelling

Promoting art, storytelling and creativity as healing tools — using narrative as a path to dignity and visibility.

Core values

The principles that shape every space we build.

Seven commitments we hold to ourselves, our partners, and the communities we serve.

i.

Dignity

Every person, every story, treated as inherently worthy.

ii.

Healing & Restoration

Trauma-informed care that meets people where they are.

iii.

Feminist Leadership

Centring the voices of women and girls in every decision.

iv.

Community-Centred

Impact built from the ground up, with the communities we serve.

v.

Inclusivity

Safe spaces that welcome difference and protect the marginalised.

vi.

Advocacy & Justice

Speaking up for systemic change, not just symptom relief.

vii.

Creativity & Expression

Art and story as living tools for healing and visibility.

Hope, always

The thread that runs through everything we do.
